So my toms are ready to go out side for the first time.

The weather is currently mild, so ideal conditions to start accustoming my toms to life outdoors.
This is a gradual process because these plants have only ever known a pampered existence in a centrally heated house with no draughts.
So this week I’ll be taking them out side in the day time and placing them somewhere sunny but sheltered from strong winds, and bringing them back indoors over night.

Next week I’ll start leaving them outside all night but under cover and protected from frost. In fact if frost is forecast I’ll bring them straight back indoors or else they will perish.
These toms are still growing into these small pots, but by the time my garlic is ready for pulling I’ll be planting them on in the space
