Today my 240 litre compostable bin liners arrived. I intend to use them to line my wheelie bin in future.

They are sold by Caddy Liners Direct, but I got mine off Amazon. They cost me £25.49 for 30 x 240 litre bags including postage.

The website says the materials used are easily compostable and biodegradable to water, CO2 and residual organic carbon (compost), leaving no harmful residues. Most importantly they do not contaminate the environment. The bags are made from corn starch and other plant extracts.
