Over the years I\’ve bought a number of books on growing veg and read through a variety of magazines on the subject.

For anyone browsing this who wants to give veg growing a try, one of the best books I’ve got is one by Huw Richards that came out this year. I received this as a gift (thank u Barry!).

His book “Veg In One Bed” is an easy to follow step by step guide what to do each month from seed sowing on your window sill, to harvesting your own produce, in a 1.2×3 metre raised bed. Very easy to follow, and well illustrated.

Another recommendation would be to consider subscribing to a magazine for a year.
