British wool duvets

I recently bought a new duvet. Having searched about for duvets made from natural fibres I came across the Wool Room.

They sell all sorts for the bedroom, but I was attracted to their use of British Wool to line their duvets and pillows.

Neatly Folded in a cotton Bag

Natural and abundant in the UK, with so many benefits, why aren’t more duvets made with British wool.

The cover is cotton. A natural fibre, but there is debate about how eco friendly it is to grow. Its sad that there is so little British grown flax available to make fibres for linen at a more accessible cost, meaning that the cost of British linen is far too expensive for me. So for now, cotton it’s is.

I chose the king medium weight. It is surprisingly light weight on the bed, and having used the duvet for a month now, its warm enough for us
