Having sown dill seeds earlier this summer in paper pots,

these grew well and were planted out in the garden to attract hover flies and other beneficial insects to feast on aphids.

Not only do the flowers look great, when they die back I am rewarded with a harvest if dill seeds which I can help in a jar and use in cooking.
