With the government advising all to avoid non essential travel and stay at home, I chose to spend some of it in the garden.
The buzz of bees in the cherry blossom was a welcome background sound.

The advance of spring has brought the the sun into the top part of the garden, providing my kale plants with what they need to gear into growth.

All I need to do now is weed them, water when soil is dry, and keep the cover on them to deter the butterflies that will soon emerge looking to lay their eggs
I have also sprinkled some organic slug pellets around them.
