Alternative to rice

Cauliflower! If you have a blender, this couldnt be any simpler, Take a whole cauli, a whole cauli makes 4 very generous portions.

Trim away any tired looking outer leaves, then cut the cauli into pieces small enough to fit in your blender, stalk, leaves and all! All parts of the cauli are edible.

Blitz the cauli pieces in you blender until it resembles bread crumbs.

Tip into a steamer, season with salt, pepper, herbs or spices of you choice.

Steam for 10 to 15 minutes, and it’s done.
